This dye will bleed. Wash it alone in cold water, every time — not just the first. Natural dye gives up a little colour with each wash. That is how you know it is not a print.

Printed by hand in Kutch — the blue from indigo, the red from a root — then washed and dried over and over. No two lengths come out the same.
