Care instructions
This dye will bleed. Wash it alone in cold water, every time — not just the first. Natural dye gives up a little colour with each wash. That is how you know it is not a print.

The craft
Ajrakh on cotton
Printed by hand in Kutch — the blue from indigo, the red from a root — then washed and dried over and over. No two lengths come out the same.
From the studio
Behind the scenes
A few seconds from the studio while a new collection is photographed. Craft films — the dyeing, the block, the needle — are still to be shot.
